2008 GBR/HRT Lunar Calendars Available
At San Ysidro Pharmacy, we
understand that managing your
rhythmic bio-identical hormone
replacement therapy can be a
daunting task. To assist you in
managing your daily doses of your
prescription,
we have made worksheet calendars
available for 2008. Click here to
get yours!.
The 2008 worksheet calendar days are
numbered in accordance with the
lunar cycle. If you do not wish to
plan along the lunar cycle, blanks
are included so that you may write
in your particular cycle day for a
given date. The lunar days that we
have recorded on the calendar for
you are based on calculations for
lunar events from the NASA Solar
System Exploration Division and
adjusted from Universal Standard
Time to Pacific Standard Time. You
may visit the NASA Eclipse Home
Page, which lists the moon phases
from the years 2000 BCE through 4000
CE, by
clicking here.
Generally, your peak days will fall
on cycle day 12 for estradiol and
cycle day 21 for progesterone.
Please discuss your cycle schedule
with your physician before you
decide to make any changes.

Protect Your Right to Choose BHRT
I would like to bring to your attention the current Citizen’s Petition that
Wyeth Pharmaceuticals, makers of Premarin® and Prempro®, recently filed with the
Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Wyeth is asking that the compounding and
dispensing of bio-identical hormone replacement (BHRT) therapy be severely
restricted, making bio-identical hormones unavailable for your use.
Wyeth is leading a strong national campaign and your input is needed today.
20,000 comments need to be filed with the FDA by April 4, 2006. What can you do
to preserve your right to obtain compounded bio-identical hormones?
- Contact the FDA by following
this link and fill out their form to express your concerns.
- Communicate with your US
Congressperson and
US Senator to let them know how you want your patient rights to be
governed.
The fastest way for your comments to reach the FDA is by following the above
links and filling out their comment forms.
Remember, you have the right to choose how and from whom you
decide to provide your individualized healthcare. Join us in communicating the
importance of protecting your rights to the FDA and our government.
